Although the fashion industry keeps getting faster and cheaper with all the advanced technology and cookie-cutter manufacture, we believe that there always is and always will be a space to appreciate the tangible, the original and the one of a kind.


For the past few decades, labour has been considered as a cheap element throughout the whole production process in many developing countries. We’d like to change that, one piece at the time.

There is a connection. A personal story.




  1. What does handmade to order mean?

Handmade to order means each piece will be put in production upon receiving your order. They are hand made either by the designer themselves or the makers in their studio. This process allows designers to produce high-quality products based on demand in order to prevent wasteful products from ending up in landfills. And for you, each piece is unique and special.






         2.  Can I return any Handmade to Order pieces?

If for any reasons, you’re not happy about your purchases or just simply change your mind, we totally understand and happy to take the item back in an acceptable condition. However, we are not able to offer refund for any Handmade to Order pieces. Store Credits only.

Please email us at if you’d like to send a return request. Once your request has been approved, we will create a returned shipping label for you. You are required to send the package back within 7 calendar days upon receiving the shipping label created for you. Original paid amount minus the return shipping cost will be credited to you after receiving your package.  Please allow 2-5 business days to complete the credit process.

Purchases must be returned in their original package and condition (unworn, unwashed, unaltered) with original tags attached. Please note that items soiled with make up, dirt, food, tanning products etc will not be accepted.




         3. How does FREE exchange work for Handmade to Order footwear?

We understand the needs to try on shoes, so for customers in Canada and the US,  we are offering complimentary shipping and exchange for all Handmade to Order shoes. This allows you to try on the pair at the comfort of your own home.

You have 48 hours to try them on upon arrival. And if you need to exchange for a different size, please send us an email at within 48 hours upon receiving your package. Requests passed the 48-hour window will NOT be accepted. The 48-hour exchange window will start at the time when receiving your package based on the tracking history.

If your exchange request has been approved, we will then send you a return shipping label. Once the returned package arrives, a new production request will be sent to the designer.





        4. Can orders outside of Canada and USA enjoy the free shipping and exchange for Handmade To Order footwear?

Unfortunately, at this point, we are not able to offer free shipping and exchange if the customer is located outside of Canada and USA.


       5. Will you still accept exchange after 48 hours?

Unfortunately, no. We will not be able to accept any exchange request after the 48-hour window. So we highly recommend you to try on the shoes as soon as you receive your order.



        6.  What will happen if I still return the package after 48 hours?

If you still send the package to us after the 48- hour window closes, Sashion will remain the rights to refuse the package.



         7.  Can I exchange to a different style?

Sorry, unfortunately no. You can only exchange to the same style and colour but in a different size.



       8. How long is the wait period after I request an exchange?

Due to the nature of handmade to order, we do not have anything in stock. The designer will be making a new piece just for you and so this could take about 3 to 4 weeks.
